At $79.95, it occupies that sweet spot where you're not gambling on quality — you're buying a proven quantity. The cylindrical design, the IPX7 waterproofing, the punchy bass that defies its size — it's all been iterated on to near-perfection.
We took the FLIP 5 on a week-long camping trip, a pool party, and subjected it to more rainstorms than we care to admit. It survived everything without a hiccup. If there's a more durable portable speaker at this price, we haven't found it.
