We've been using this drive for over two months as our primary field storage for photography and video shoots. It's been dropped off tables, rained on, and stuffed into camera bags alongside tripods and lenses. The IP55 rating isn't just marketing — this drive genuinely withstands the abuse that field work demands.

Performance holds steady at 1050MB/s reads and 1000MB/s writes, matching the Samsung T7 blow for blow in benchmarks. Where the SanDisk differentiates itself is sustained performance under pressure — extended writes rarely dip below 900MB/s even after the cache fills, which matters enormously when you're dumping footage from a camera.
